Sustainability at Amprion

The energy transition in Germany and Europe is in full swing – the target: climate neutrality by 2045. Amprion is actively shaping this transformation: we build and operate a high-performance extra-high-voltage grid, thereby enabling the decarbonisation of the energy system.
At Amprion, sustainability is therefore closely linked to our statutory mandate as a transmission system operator.

From climate-friendly grid expansion and attractive, safe working conditions to supplier relationships and anti-corruption – Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy and is continuously being developed.
We describe our holistic approach across our three fields of action environment, people and corporate governance:
we set clear targets, develop policies and track their implementation using specific actions and metrics.

Sustainability Management

Sustainability is firmly embedded in Amprion’s organisational structure and is systematically managed.
